台灣女雙鄭怡靜、黃怡樺也繼男雙後挺進冠軍戰，但不敵中國大陸的丁寧與李曉霞，被對方給直落四，連續兩年在ITTF（國際桌總）年終賽挑戰雙打后冠失利。

「雙怡配」先在四強戰中以4比1的局數淘汰掉德國的孫禎琦與單曉娜，孫禎琦出生中國遼寧，為該國「海外兵團」的一員，以比賽時戴滿首飾聞名。

冠軍戰兩人要面對丁寧與李曉霞，來自中國黑龍江省的丁寧，為2012年倫敦奧運女單銀牌，搭檔李曉霞則是該屆奧運女單金牌。

第1局鄭怡靜、黃怡樺一度4：1領先，但最後被逼到8：8，再被對方連下3局以8：11讓出此局，結果第2局兩人被丁李配打了9比0攻勢，早早失去機會，再以2：11落敗。

雙怡配第3局更是被壓著打，以1：11不敵，第4局一度奮起，但在7：7之後，被連取4分遭到橫掃。
