台北市今天中午出現攝氏35.1度高溫，看在印度民眾眼中，可能是難得的「涼爽」，因為印度有數個省正飽受酷熱天氣之苦，根據官方報告，最近3天，已有440人因酷熱天氣暴斃；從4月至今，更已有524人死於高溫。
 
《印度時報》（The Times of India）報導，這是印度有史以來有如此多人死於炎熱天氣；從4月起至5月23日，高溫共造成84人死亡，但到了26日，暴斃人數直線上升，遽增至524人，其中有250人在周末因酷熱暴斃。
 
印度氣象局資料顯示，在Tuni和Visakhapatnam機場測得攝氏47度驚人高溫，在Vijayawada 和Kakinada也有46度高溫，相較之下，Hyderabad就「涼爽」許多，「只有」41度。
